Directions to Lake Russell:
There are a few different ways to get to Elberton, GA, home of Lake Richard B. Russell. These 2 routes have proven to be the most direct and effective. If you like highway travel, please use Option 1, if you like a more scenic route, please use Option 2. Please avoid Option 2 on days that Georgia has a home game as it will take you through Athens.

85 north to exit 147 (Hwy 98). Then take a right towards commerce to Hwy 72. Take left towards Elberton. When you come into Elberton take Take a left at the Wallgreens Hwy(77), go about 3 miles until you see Hwy 368. Then take a right and go to 10 mile marker and you will see Newton's Pointe on your right hand side. Drive into the S/D and see the Model Home. Office # 706-213-9318 |

If you live on the east or southeast side of Atlanta, you may want to use US. HWY 78 through Athens to get to Elberton. Take US HWY 78 east from I-285 in Atlanta. Travel to almost to Athens and take a right on GA HWY 316. You will travel approximately 3 miles and you will take a right on HWY 129 (Athens Perimeter Highway or LOOP). You will take the LOOP approximately 7.5 miles to GA HWY 72. Take a right on GA HWY 72 and travel approximately 32 miles to Elberton. |
DIRECTIONS From Elberton To the Sales Office:
Once you arrive in Elberton, you will travel approximately one mile to the intersection of GA HWY 72 and GA HWY 77. There will be a Pinnacle Bank on your left. Take a left on GA HWY 77. You will travel approximately 2.5 miles and GA HWY 368 will split off to the right at Clark’s Junction. Take a right on GA HWY 368. You will travel approximately 10 miles and you will see the entrance to Newton’s Point on your right. Take your first right inside the subdivision and you will see the sales office on your left.
